  James is two months old today!  

 

My sister and David gave birth to James two months ago today and it has been the best thing.  He has grown so much in just TWO months.

 

Throughout the birth I stood outside of the room waiting to hear the first cry from either a boy or girl while my other family members sat in the waiting room anticipating the phone call from me. While I stood out there I had a so many emotions and feelings going on in my head.  I was excited, overjoyed, nervous, cheerful, and anxious.  I knew that my sister and her husband were going to make the best parents ever.  Every time I thought about the unknown baby tears flowed down my face as I anticipated the love I would have for the baby.  When I heard the first cry, my feelings became undescribable.  A new life was welcomed into the world and best of all James was born into a family that will provide unconditional love. 

James has experienced a lot in just two months.  He made his first trip to the river, attended three weddings, has enjoyed many road trips to Eugene, and survived heart surgery.  I am excited to continue to watch him grow and everyday I spend with him is special and exciting!  I never knew how thrilling it would be to be an aunt.  I have never cared and loved something so much.  He will always and forever be something special to me.
